Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Agriculture & Food and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.70%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Dar Albalad for Business Solutions (TADAWUL:7205), which rose 4.92% or 0.52 points to trade at 11.08 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Masane Al Kobra Mining Company CJSC (TADAWUL:1322) added 4.40% or 3.30 points to end at 78.30 and Wataniya Insurance Company (TADAWUL:8300) was up 4.38% or 0.58 points to 13.81 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Umm Al-Qura (TADAWUL:3005), which fell 6.25% or 0.86 points to trade at 12.89 at the close. Retal Urban Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4322) declined 6.22% or 0.63 points to end at 9.50 and Saudi Ground Services Co (TADAWUL:4031) was down 5.68% or 1.56 points to 25.92.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 235 to 87 and 25 ended unchanged.
Shares in Retal Urban Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4322) fell to 52-week lows; down 6.22% or 0.63 to 9.50. Shares in Saudi Ground Services Co (TADAWUL:4031) fell to 3-years lows; losing 5.68% or 1.56 to 25.92.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.41% or 1.06 to $76.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.64% or 1.30 to hit $80.75 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.49% or 21.12 to trade at $4,326.32 a troy ounce.
